In the Norkirk neighborhood, around the corner from Van Aalst Park, you’ll find Reservoir Park at 1501 3rd St. It’s a small neighborhood park with a fun playground.
It’s got a good-sized climbing structure, best for ages 4 – 8. It includes a tall tube slide, two mid-size flat slides, and a short wobbly slide, plus a climbing “rock” zone and some low-ish platforms to peer out from.
It has one of those sit and spin / stand and spins.
And swings. (2 kid, 2 toddler buckets)
No bathrooms. Partially shady.
Just one other family came by on the warm Wednesday afternoon when we were there. Not sure if that’s typical usage.
